The Good ole 7V

I recently got this one out and had a go with it. I forgot how much I enjoy the feel of the 7V. I need to get a few good wall hangers. Things like this need to be displayed and not kept in a dark case. Some guy scribbled on it a couple years ago too. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/MCRp9Y-8vEM45Gg...

Re: What shows have you seen?? What about them??

Well me and my youngest son have tickets to see Metallica in June and Iron Maiden in July! Man it feels like 1986 all over again just saying that.... These old bands are still kicking serious ass these days. More power to em! Hope they keep it up! :headbang

Re: New Carvin Legacy....

Yep, just a new pedal and not a new amp configuration. Oh well.. I recently picked up a Morley A/B switch and have been goofing with running my V3 head super clean and then the Legacy 3 a little dirty at the same time. Sounds insane with a lot of bottom end to boot. I just need to figure out how to ...

This has had to of taken place by now. Be nice to put it to bed though. Heck I've even answered a lot of unknown calls just in case it was the one in the last few months.

Gwenn, here in North America is was about $250 per person in addition to the show ticket price of about $30 each.

So well worth it too...

Re: New Carvin Legacy....

Yes a new amp designed with Vai and for the Legacy line is coming soon. I bet with a bigger price tag too over the L3. Not a lot of info out there on it though. I've been using an older V3 for a while now. Really like it. Just finally bought a Legacy 3 yesterday. Only 4 months old. It's being shippe...

Re: Two new guitars added to my collection -->

Well, I did it again. Grabbed a JS1000. Only issues were a stripped screw hole in the locking nut bracket and that it was in dire need of a proper setup. Plays smooth now and quite bright for passive pickups. Here it is at our local tech's shop waiting on the new nut bracket part. http://i52.photobu...

Re: Ibanez Jem - 30 years anniversary 2017

Looks like b2 called it above. I would still rather have one of the originals over these re-issue models. Looks like the off the shelf price is $3,999.99 each. Not sure if they are a limited run or not? http://www.ibanez.com/usa/news/f_products/2017/JEM30th/index.html?cat_id=1&year=2017&series_id=1&...

Re: does the jem77p have scalloped frets?

Nope, no scalloped frets on these Premium Jem's. Some reviews also note there are intonation issues with the newer ones that for some reason can't be worked out. JEM-7VWH Art-Guitar Drawing from P&W Tour? Taken Place Yet?

I was wondering if the drawing for the JEM 7VWH that Steve doodled some art on with a sharpie has taken place yet? On the P&W tour they had it displayed at the merchandise table for those of us lucky enough to catch the shows in the last month of the tour. I was told by the friendly & nice lady runn...

Re: Bummed - Evo Experiance For Minors under 21yrs

Jeroen, Your advice was spot on! We were told to arrive at 3:45pm and the meet and greet started right at 4pm. It must have lasted to around 5:30pm. Probably as there were 30-35 people show up for the EVO Experience. We asked the guy running the meet and greet to meet Jeremy. Right before sound chec...
