I like them, they looked kind of unusual at first, but the more I see them the more I find that they make for a nice change. But the most important thing is that they feel comfortable to Steve. Yeah, colorful is always the right word with him, even though it will never be as colorful as his music!

As far as I know, it's the 12 string neck of Steve's white triple neck Jem, going into an Eventide H3000, then directly out in stereo into the console.

Personally, in the past I would have preferred Steve to work (and tour) on newer material, as long as he can physically do it, and reserve the release of archival material for when he will no longer be able to tour or play at his current level.
