At the time the person posted their "feelings" above, the record was slated for release in September. Why do people take pleasure in being smartasses about the change in plans? People constantly ask me for information ahead of time, and then when it changes they complain about it... I won't be so f...

I like the tapping part very much. But the following solo... Well, Steve must have used that rhythm about a dozen times before so it really sounds like old stuff. Not really innovative. But this is only like ten seconds or so, it's impossible to tell anything about the album yet.

Luckily, Europe is a relatively small place and it's a bit easier for people to travel to nearby shows. I just hope this one was meant to be a joke. Isn't it far enough to travel ~ 500 kilometers to see the nearest show? And by the way: Unluckily, in Europe gas is more than twice as expensive as in...

I finally got my copy today and all I can say is:  . I've seen a lot of guitar virtuosity, especially from Steve but this DVD literally blasts away everything I've known. To see Steve Vai, Tony MacAlpine, Dave Weiner and Eric Sardinas together on one stage, playing The Attitude Song and seein...

Just a few examples: The sick pick scrapings in Opposites Attract Part 1 (2:31 - 2:34, 2:36 - 2:39). Somehow reminded me of Buckethead. The Reaper 2:27 - 2:37. Now this is an explosion! Warm Regards 3:15 - 3:16 (dirty little harmonics  ) and the beginning of the solo. As well as each and every...

Man, just look at all the virtuosos here! If it's all so easy then Steve must have been stupid enough to practice ten hours daily over several years to be able to play stuff like For The Love Of God, Bad Horsie or Eugene's Trick Bag.

I guess you are all just better than him.

I don't know for sure but I think Julian must be around 17 or 18 now, Fire is a few years younger. But as I said, I don't know exactly.

Scenes From A Memory . I think it is really the best album I've ever heard (sorry Steve, but you've got the best song). Especially if you consider all the parts they took from Metropolis Pt. 1 , put them first into Overture 1928 and eventually spread them through the whole CD, arranged and played d...

Best wishes once again.
