Don't forget Stravinsky's Rite of Spring caused a riot because it was so strange to the audience. I thought it was Mozart's The Magic Flute. Maybe it was both? Oh these hellraising composers! I know Robert Fripp is a class act. In The Court Of The Crimson King is among my fave recordings. But the s...

I found Fripp's set interseting and thought the heckles were unnecessary if you didn't want to hear it or didn't like it the bar was always open. During track 3 of Fripp's set I promised myself if he played another song I was on my way there. I almost lost the will to live. The soundscapes he plays...

It's an incredible DVD. Zeppelin were one of the bands I would have loved to have been old enough to see live. The DVD is the next best thing.

THE BEST BAND EVER.

Buy it. NOW!!!

Nelly Furtado's voice was and is terrible. She has no range whatsoever, and when she tries it wobbles all over the place.

Or is that "musical genius?"

The first few times I tried to connect to the order form for archives 3&4 by clicking on a link on an e-mail I had been sent it wouldn't go through, when it finally did it said I had 4 items in my basket. I have tried to remove all but one item but nothing happens. Updating a quantity doesn't work. ...

Yeah, I love tracks like that too. Slow & quiet build up then frenetic ending.

'Stairway To Heaven' wears the crown.

Ummm... Nothing in particular. Just curious. My fault. I was a little quizzical as with 'all posts' selected it was returning me only one page, and I might have been looking for threads prior to about 10th April. When none existed. Now the topics are spilling over onto two pages, and now I know the ...

For the top guitarists, apart from the obvious ability, what really sets them apart from the pretenders (no, not Chrissie Hynde's lot) is their instantly recognizable tone - the sort of thing where you catch a previously unheard track and you go, "Hey, that sounds like..." All the top players have i...

Another question for the mods

Hi guys. Just a quickie. I may be being stupid here but when a topic has disappeared from the bottom of the screen, has it gone for good? Even with 'all topics' selected it still says page 1 of 1. So can't we view old topics, for example the ones when the forum first started? :?

Cheers

Can anyone guess who said that?
Socrates? Shakespeare? William Tell?
