So what are you practicing at the moment?

im currently working my way through the second section of Martin Goulding's "Metal Bootcamp" series on alternate picking which is quite interesting.

im also working through Troy Stetina book "fretboard mastery"

Steve said at the london masterclass that has was "in pain" whenever he didnt have his guitar. i also remember him saying that he record's himself playing at least an hour a day. well allways try to mix it up by learning new riffs and stuff and usally do the sections out of "guitar techniques" to improve my playing in that area of study

by failing to learn songs i mean that i literaly fail to learn the whole piece of music itself

ive got an epiphone les paul(which is basicly a gibson les paul studio with cheaper pick-ups, the sound ive gotten out of the JEM is completly different to les paul.. to me anyways i guess its all perpesctive thing really
