Its a shame really because i always thought gary would be a perfect candidate for a G3, the 97' tour was particuarly bluesy. Oh well, there you go!

The only version that moves me is the "Alive in an ultra world" version, sends shivers up my spine, hower the live version on the vai DVD is spectacular, its great to see i played live and the extended ending is awesome!! But yes it does move me much, very nostalgic and great to listen to in the sum...

Gary Moore's comments about G3

Hey guys, check out the new guitarist - theres an interview with Gary and heres a little extract of what he says about G3... " It sounds like an old Cliche, but I can appreciate the ability yet it does nothing for me. I watched it with my son and he couldn't take more than one song from each of thos...

I believe that downloading is a great tool, I've discovered so much new music through it in the past, then i go out and buy the records - and artist should be endorsing it, and the smart ones do. Now I only download through itunes ( and hence pay) but i think the majority of downloaders are honest p...

I have to agree, Steve's part sounds mostly improv. and doesn't sound very professional - i expect we could achieve a similar effect jamming over the original track using cubase or something....

I voted for Joe Satriani - just thought it was too raw and bluesy for me. But as for the rest I love them all. EOC is kick ass, even though i'm not a fan of electronic/d'n'b. Strange beautiful is prob my favourite, his cover of sleepwalk just sends goosepimples down my spine, so the best version I'v...

JSX!!

Has anyone got a JSX? I need some user feedback because getting one is on the cards. I read a kick ass review in the UK guitarist and it got the 5 star gold award as they think its the most versatile head you can get at the moment, so if you have one tell me what its like!!

If you go to www.coheedandcambria.com there are a bunch of free songs to download and some video's to watch. I've never seen them live, and even if it is terrible i would'nt want to try and play some of the stuff they do - tis crazy!

Coheed & Cambria

Guys I love this band, one of the most inventive, quirky and awesome groups out there at the moment. I particularly love claudio's sometimes childlike vocals. If you don't know of these guys check em out and if you love them or hate them post your thoughts!

I'm sure Vai used a Boss ME-33 to record that, as I used to have one and it has the patch vai used on that song, yours for about £190!
