Hey Screamjem, where'd you get that picture? that's a UV neck I modded hehehe. Belongs to a friend of mine in Nova Scotia. It was a UV7BK neck, but I put a maple board with pyramids on it.

There is no commercially available piezo system that will work in a Jem. The Ibanez double edge bridge will work, but you can't buy it seperately and have it installed, and if you could I would imagine it would run you a good $400 minimum for a new one. A piezo wafer like you see in an acoustic guit...

Larrivee, no contest, I've yet to play a Taylor I liked, just personal taste, but I have never played a Larrivee I didn't like. Also, Guild, problem with Guild though, is they have awful setups from factory.

Of course you could always have a custom one built to spec :D

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around much, shoot me an email if you like, but reaper is correct, it's dependant upon material used whether you get them done through me or somebody else. Just so you are aware, in a full fretboard inlay like pyramids or vines you need to be prepared to have the guita...

Actually the paints are the same too LOL, I do guitars and motorcycle's. I use automotive paint on them all, it's simply the best paint for the job :)

Airbrushing, a photo top that's cleared, there are many ways to do it, the trick is a good clear coat to protect it :)

Universal Jem's doesn't do bodies ;) EKG does great work though, I don't beleive he does paint finishing though, I've done a few for him. He's making a couple bodies for me right now actually. Now, I woudn't say start with a Jem, Unless you can get a used one really cheap. Starting with an RG is a b...

I would just like to see him come to Edmonton or Calgary Alberta for a change, Satch has been here once or twice, I was lucky enough to catch him on the FIABD tour, but not since, G3 didn't come within 700 miles of here, we get crap for concerts, I'd love to have a good one like Steve Vai! It's the map to the Ultra Zone! :D Ha ha! Did someone call my name?. But seriously, does anyone know where the actual vine came from? I believe it supposed to be an older design......but from where :?: Vine inlays have been around as long as instruments. The Vine on the JEM guitars, was orig...
