Shure and Sennheiser make great sound-quality products. As far as the tone problem, it is a lot better now 'a days. Steve used a wireless system for the Astoria DVD and it was still one of the better tones I've heard. Wired is still better than wireless obviously though, and those with wireless inte...

It's a great pattern, at least this way you don't have to memorize tons of sweep patterns every time you learn a Vai song with sweep sections. :)

Vibration on 12th fret?

Hey guys, for some reason, my guitar (RG1570) always seems to make a weird vibration and noise every time I play around the 12th fret on the high E string. Not just the high E string, but around that pitch on the first 2-3 strings. I have a sound sample to send if needed but it kind of sounds like a...

Hmm alright thanks, I tried to connect it but since the speakers are stereo they don't fit correctly. I'll just find the mic you suggested through Ebay, I saw a few pretty cheap yesterday. Thanks a bunch for your help, it's really been appreciated. :D

I think Ernie Balls are great for sound but tend to break more easy than any other strings I've tried... those were the 10s though, I use 9 now and they seem to be more durable.

It actually sounds pretty good but I can't hear myself play.. is there a way I can hear through my speakers or something since the Fast Track Pro is supposedly an external sound card?

Nope, thanks Roger, any other suggestions besides mic'ing it? You may be right about it being one of the only options. :x

General set list

Hey guys, my friend and I have been invited to play at a local seafood restaurant as an event. We have been asked to play for a few hours and were wondering a what a good rock instrumental set list would be (songs we can learn easy and improv. easily) I'm curious to see what you guys are going to po...

I was thinking about plugging an adapter into my amp input, one side having the guitar cord and the other side having a cord that goes into the instrument input of the Fast Track Pro. Either that, or plugging the adapter into the Fast Track Pro and feeding one end to the guitar and the other to the ...

Hmm, I'm trying to resort to spending another fairly large sum because I can't afford it right now. Thanks for the suggestion and help though! I was wondering if any of the following may work since it should act like two inputs on one. http://www.fullcompass.com/product/292313.html http://www.radios...
