It's such a great song - not serious, and intended as a bit of fun. :D

I met Yngwie at the London Guitar Show last weekend - I'd been told that he was quite arrogant and egotistic... All I can say is that he didn't seem particually forthcoming. When he was signing a poster for me, he didn't look at me or ask me my name or anything - he just signed it, gave it to me, an...

Lefty here - although I write, throw a ball etc right-handed, I play guitar & eat left handed, and wear my watch on my right wrist, etc. I'm a bit of both, but I consider myself a lefty because that's how I play the guitar! :)

Happy Birthday Steve! :D Was great to meet you last year...you played such a great show - easily one of the best I've ever seen! I played 'The Crying Machine' for my music A-Level exam the other day - it went quite well, the odd missed note here and there but nothing major. Hopefully I should get an...

lol - they're not for me! Honestly! A mate of mine plays in a local band and wants some glasses to wear when he's playing in pubs.

Steve's Glasses

Ok, this might seem like a really wierd question...but a friend of mine (also a guitarist) has asked me to find him some glasses similar to the style Steve wears. I've had a brief look on the internet, but haven't really been able to find much. Does anybody know where I could get hold of some glasse...

I had a feeling that's the way he felt...I think he must have signed a lengthy contract years ago that obligates him to put out a record every year for several years, but he's regretting it now. What if Satch were to eventually break free of the contract and move over to Steve's label, or even star...

Satch is not the main blame for this, however, for his producer has held back a few creative songs that went over his head. I thought the album was alright, a little bland, but I'm sure Satch is far from over as far as new material is concerned. I met Satch the other week, and he said that he "feel...

very nice guitar, is it mirrachrome paint process? It's just a sheet of mirror glued to the top of the guitar. I was told that this method looks much better on a Jem as it has a flat top, wheras the paint looks better on more contoured bodies (Satch's guitar, etc). Only the top of the guitar is mir...

Yeah. Well, I can do pretty much anything to both the strings and the trem, and it rarely goes out of tune. It's very cool! :D

Is the workmanship of a high standard too? It's very well built, but I can't compare it to an Ibanez as I've never owned one (being a lefty and all). It did have to be sent back to have a few tweaks made to it, but Martin Sims is very easy to work with, and it came out looking just as good as I hop...

Is that a TRS (or TRS-style) tremolo, though? It doesn't look like an Edge, even from those small photos. I'm really not too sure - I asked for a Floyd Rose or FR-style tremolo. My other guitars (which all have non-locking trems) are hopeless, but this is amazing - I can do huge divebombs all day, ...

Mike
£2000. I didn't think it was too bad, considering a stock Jem is about £1200. Then you have a lefty model (which are always more), a sustainer, the LEDs/laser, the mirror finish, and the fact it's completely custom built.

Finally, a left handed Jem!

Hi folks, For my 18th birthday, my whole family clubbed together to get me a custom built "Dream Guitar" - which was a Jem, obviously. I'm a left handed player, and....well, we all know how many lefty Jems are out there! It was built by the Sims Custom Shop (who put the LEDs into the neck of Mojo), ...
