Re: Visualization techniques for guitarists

My pleasure.

Let us know if you find other material of that nature. Personally, I'm quite interested in all things dealing with spirituality and creativity.

Merry Christmas and keep on sharing the love 8) .

Re: that not-so-guitar-centered music

the bands interesting me right now for the most part aren't music theory geniuses or anything, but they do have a few things in common. 1) creativity 2) originality 3) the mindset of having the end result being a cool song I completely agree. If they're unique in some way (even with commercial/conv...

Just saw the news elsewhere. I'm just happy it will expose them to a new audience. Having just played Rock Band for the first time (this week), I have to say it's pretty cool. Guitar skills mostly help you in the finger sequencing sense. I got to finally try drums... although I imagine it's next to ...

Having visited both (DT and Satriani) I have to say that the only forums worth a damn are this one, jemsite and satrianiforum. DT's is very biased and the interface sucks. Satch's forum is a mess. Just a stream of consciousness (DT pun intended). But as I recall reading, that's how Satch wanted it, ...

He is an awesome player :)
Indeed, I can't wait for his new one towards the end of the year. He said it's going to return to the spirit of his first album (more rock) more than his last one.

That'll be 3 albums in 3 years... way to fill the void in new music.

Joe should do what he wants and more power to him. He certainly shouldn't worry about pleasing anyone but himself as that has always worked in the past. I'm just frustrated because what Joe likes and what I like have drifted very far apart. What's frustrating about it is that Joe was one of maybe 6...

As far as I'm concerned it's a mixed bag. I miss the evocative nature of Joe with tracks like: Made of Tears If I Could Fly Just Look Up Starry Night Ceremony The Forgotten Part II etc Or the attitude/fun of songs like: Up In Flames Up In The Sky Summer Song The Extremist Satch Boogie etc The closes...
