and was just looking to see what tone would best bring out any mistakes in a particular excersize. spot on. for example when practicing non-musical/musical exercises, allternate picking licks, string skipping exercises or tricky finger patterns. i was wondering what you use to help make any mistake...

pracice tone

i was just going over some exercises and was wondering which tone to use.

just wondering which tone people use when doing exercises. weather it be a clean smooth tone, or deth distortion. or does it matter.

which ones bring out faults that others cover.
