I was right in front of him at the last show at the Wiltern. I saw his pedal board when his tech was putting it out. There was definetly a striped EVH phaser on it. It was probably Steves since it was with all of his other pedals and effects. I'm guessing he uses it for Km'Pu'Du'Wee' in the last ver...

Floydrose Redmonds

I saw one of these guitars in a magazine and then in a small used guitar shop but didn't have a chance to ask to play it. What have you heard about the Redmonds. It looks like it would be useful so you don't have to spend so long changing your strings and have a floyd rose but I read a review that s...

The RG is the second guitar I have ever owned and I love it. I have a flame amber finish and evo's in it. It plays amazingly and sounds great. I think its a great buy.

Re: I'm gonna get slaughtered for this but here goes

Jimmy Page has to be without dought the most overated guitarist ever. His solos are terrible in the few songs that there is one, pentetonic blues anyone. I used to have arguments with somone about this and their whole argument was based upon " wait till you hear the heartbreaker solo, it's unbileava...

I think i'll write the columnist through the LA times. And that guy who was talking about Coltrane I think is completely on target, what about Art Tatum, no one ever accused him of being non emotional.

Dimarzio or Seymour Duncan

I've been playing guitar for about 3 years and I have progressivly been looking at different accesories and have been obtaining some knowledge. Now I have a rg320 that I love and I'm thinking about puting some new and better humbuckers in it. Now I have friends who have Dimarzio's and Seymour Duncan...

I heard when he was like in his teen's he used to be a huge shredder. I dunno if its true or not. But yeah he definetly missed the point. I just posted another thread that talks about another article that dissed Vai.

This Article Pissed me Off

As most of you know the Cross Roads festival just happened and it looked awesome. I'm a huge fan of Beck and Clapton and Vai was there too. I read this article in the LA times and I know Vai isn't too big, but just as worthy, anyways I didn't exspect them to talk about him much. But in this one para...
