I find that 1mm pick suit me best for that kind of playing, not too thick, but just rigid enough so that it doesn't get in the way.
The small jazz ones I've heard that are preferred by mane people but I just can't seem to be comfortable with them. Too damn small

Just got myself a Boss gt-10 multi effects pedal. It is AWESOME, although it really is a pain in the ass to get the hang of all the effects to get a really good sound.

I think its great, very different to what I usually hear but there are some good songs out there. I don't know if they have much emotion or feeling, but I love how Trance music artists kind-of play with the atmosphere with their music.
