Re: Can Amp Heads be used standing vertically?
I already have my mixer on top of my cab. To minimise taking up space it would be handy to stand the amp HEAD vertically on studio desk. I dont want to do this in case you are not supposed to, I just dunno I emailed Peavey anyway.

Can Amp Heads be used standing vertically?
Well my title question says it all.
I have just bought my 1st seperate head and cab after using combo's for 15 years.
Space is limited at my small home studio.
Do amp heads need to be sitting horizontally as a rule? Will I cause any damage if it stands vertically??
Cheers guys

BEST 212 CAB FOR JSX HEAD????
Here are 2 212 cabs I am looking at for my JSX amp head. Anybody advise which is best? http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/Guitar-Amplifiers-and-Speakers/Guitar-Amps,-Combos-and-Cabinets/Guitar-Speaker-Cabinets/sc1587/p8374.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://www.guitarampkeyboard.co...

Re: JSX 212 CAB
Well! Done some research and I think this cab would be great for the jsx amp. Let me know what you think!! I used to own the legacy 212 combo (loud as hell, heavy as well). Yep super quality built amps. http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/marshall-1936-v/68202" onclick="window.open(this.href);return...

Re: JSX 212 CAB
Nah dont take any notice if those prices on there. They are Peavey prices. For example the JSX head is £1537.
I paid £1150 with free shipping for mine so I very much doubt the cab will retail at peavey prices. If it does then I will be looking for an alternative for sure.

Re: Satch with Marshall again?
Well thinking about it, I guess if we listen to Satch's tone from early albums right up to the present it's clear that it is a tone that will continue to change. Just because he has his own line of amps I guess it doesnt mean he has to limit to that one amp. I think he even told Peavey that when the...

Re: Satch with Marshall again?
I am baffled at where Joe is going with all of this. If you watch the Chickenfoot video to Soap On A Rope, it starts with Joe switching on a Marshall JVM 410H amp. The video shows the band playing live shows and you can clearly see Joe's JSX heads behind him. It shows the band in Sammy's studio. Som...

Re: JSX 212 CAB
It's a 212 cab.
Here is the link
http://www.peavey-eu.com/product.php?fl ... =5&key=190" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I was gonna buy the combo but I would rather the head and and this cab if its gonna come out soon.

Hey so sorry to hear that mate! It must clearly depend on the venue as the band have no problem at all as long as you don't use the flash on them!!! City Hall there was NO security whatsoever at the front. (thats right NO security) In fact most people with poor viewing at the front stalls, who were ...
