perfect noise supressor here!

http://www.isptechnologies.com/decimatorpedal.htm To get a clear lead tone, should I spend some money on a noise supressor? After all, when I do lets say Building the Church, some strings would ring. Plus, with distortion you can hear a hiss that can really kill your tone and can get annoying. This ...

how about the visual sound jerkyll and Hyde? That sounds like the best pedal for a lead sound with lots of gain without background noise. I want a pedal as a booster to get a vai tone.

(Boss Overdrive & Metal Zone together) better than DS-1

When I put Boss Overdrive and the Metal Zone together, they had more of a Vai tone than the DS-1. Im pretty surprised. Does this seem like a pretty good combination? I think I might get both. Tell me your opinion.

I like playing Building the Church tapping with one hand...its quite impressive. I like soloing Bad Horsie. C'mon how come Bad Horsie hasn't come up? I love that song. The Animal is cool to solo but when you are improvising. I think it sounds great as a back track but it's too short. And the beginni...

not Meshuggah. they drop tune their guitars by a diminished 5th interval. F-Bb-Eb-Ab and so on. on a regular guitar it would be drop tuned a major 7th interval.
