July 25, 2003:

- A new letter from Steve:

Hey folks,
I know I have been releasing a lot of archive type things, and I am looking forward to finishing the new studio CD, but in the meantime a few things will be happening. The live DVD from London will be available hopefully by the G3 tour this October, the Archives Vol. 3 may be available in stores shortly, and we were just approached by Sony to consider them putting out a compilation of my songs that is part of the "Essential" series they are working on.
The idea is to put together a handful of songs that sincerely represents the artists most unique contributions and captures the heart or essence of the artist.
I have the opportunity to pick the songs for this CD and I want to ask you what songs you feel best capture the spirit of my music.
Remember, this is not a "best of" but more of an "Essence of the artist".
Thanks
s
