Before I even write about the Masterclass, I want to give a special thanks to Steve, Mikey, Ruta, Pia, and Paul for always spending quality time with me, and making me feel like family. It does not go unnoticed, and I am truly grateful.
The Masterclass was one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. I don't play the guitar, but I have a love like no other for that instrument. I not only walked away with a whole lot of info, but I walked away stronger, more focused, inspired, and with an extra shot of courage.
If Steve decides to make a tour out of this, I strongly advise you to check it out.
Thank you, Steve for doing what you do, and quite simply for just being you.

 You really know how to make a Kansas boy feel welcome!
Thanks Steve for a great class and hi to all the great people who attended and I had the honor to hang with.
My guitar students love the tracks and new melodies are flowing like crazy.
Special thanks to Mikey, Ruta, Paul & Slidebar.
I might need a group rate for the next one as all the students want to go! :headbang

THANKS FOR POSTING THE PIC'S OF THE JAM. IT REALLY HELPED TO SEE THEM AND REALIZE IT WASN'T A DREAM. I WAS THE 4TH AND LAST PLAYER IN THE GROUP. I WAS PROBABLY THE OLDEST GUITARIST AT THE EVENT. I'M 56 YEARS OLD AND THIS YEAR HAVE BEEN PLAYING 40 YEARS. IT WAS GREAT BEING THERE WITH ALL YOU KIDS. NEVERTHELESS IT WAS THE THRILL OF MY LIFE BEING ON STAGE WITH STEVE AND I WILL NEVER FORGET IT. BEST OF LUCK EVERYBODY. REGARDS, RON FETTER

Hi guys!! Steve!!

The Masterclass was incredible!!! Both me and my fiance Eddie flew in from New York to see Steve in California, without any hesitation :) !! It was really special to get to share some time with him and hear about his experiences, and thoughts, and hear him play so amazingly!! It was unreal from the very start, just walking in and seeing him standing right there..playing the guitar :)..I bought this as a surprise gift for Eddie, which blew him away as he is such a huge fan of Steve Vai!! I'm also one of his biggest fans now for life, and hope to get the chance to see him again real soon!!!! Thanks so much Steve!!! Paul, Mikey, and the great guys out at the venue for making this experience something we'll always remember!!!

We hope that Steve comes to his hometown in NY with the Masterclass, so Eddie can get up onstage and jam with Steve (Mikey you gotta make this happen!)..he's gettn ready by riffin' over the Naked Tracks cds :)

Rock On,
Evette & Eddie

Cool guys, thanks for all the reviews. I was wondering for those who played Evo and Flo, how did the neck feel? With the Temp necks on them.

I was strangely familiar. At first, it was distracting, but you began to generalize the positions of the frets, so you dont even notice it. I didnt see a real difference in the tuning at the time, but now it bothers the crap out of me on my other guitars. haha I am interested to see where he got it done, and how much it costs, because I think it is somthing that I would love to have done to my guitar. Overall, it was really cool.

Thanks! I am seriously considering that. It depends on what happens with the money situation though. I auditioned for Berklee in Boston, and will find out if I got in on the 31st of this month! haha and its pritty expensive, so I might not have much extra money. But either way, somthing cool will come of it! lol
