This was a really great event! I'd like to first thank Steve, Mikey, Ruta, Paul, the Slide Bar staffer, and all the other folks involved in this event. It was really quite a treat for everyone who attended

Steve gave some really "no bullshit" and no nonsense advice for musicians/guitar players of all levels. Steve started out by playing a song to one of the naked tracks and then dove into the lessons. It was well over three hours in length with meet and greet included.

I don't want to give away too much of the content of the class, but I would say that this Master Class was a great way to learn (hear) what it really takes to take your playing to the next level and beyond. Not only that, but Steve also shared some of his personal experiences with the many challenges that are faced on a daily basis and strategies to work through them and come out a better musician on the other end. He emphasized the need for a positive mental attitude and ways to develop the inner strength needed to break through many of the barriers guitar players perceive in their mind.

It was really a wonderful experience and I hope that Steve does a handful of these Master Classes in the states. I also think it'd be really cool if Steve did a 3 day course or something a little longer because it felt like there was so much more that he wanted to share but time didn't allow. I've only found a couple of guitar players that are not only great guitar players, but also great instructors. Steve definitely is a great instructor and I'd love to see more of that side of him in the future.

Thanks again!

Wow, this was one of the single most amazing experiences of my life! Being able to get on a stage with STEVE VAI And be able to play your heart out on such an amazing guitar is somthing that can not be described in words. All I can say is thank you Steve, Rita, and MIkey, and everyone else who was involved. I hope to be able to do that again sometime!!! If anyone has any comments on my playing as well, I would love to get some feedback from people who know good guitar!

Lewis - you were amazing! It was so great to watch you get on stage and play with Steve with such "fierce confidence!" :)

Sorry I didn't introduce myself to you but next time I definitely would like to meet you. It was great that your Dad was able to come in and watch the jam session with you and Steve. You definitely have found your calling, keep up the good work!!!

Hey Lewis,
I thought you did a great job in the jam with Steve!I especially liked the the reverse hand Joe Satriani move.Did you get any pics from the jam?I was in it too.I went first.I normally play in drop d half step down and had to play Steves axe which was in 440.I got off to a rough start but it was fun after that. What an honor to trade riffs with him!!If you have any pics of the Jam please post them and if its not too much trouble email them to me at bobtheguitarman@yahoo.com
Peace TO Ya,
Bob
