Wylde has been diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs, and has been admitted into the hospital in Eugene, OR this afternoon. Today's BLS appearance in Eugene has been canceled, along with the remaining BLS appearances on the tour.

"The Pedal To The Metal Tour" will continue without Black Label Society, and the rest of the bands will all be participating throughout the remaining dates on the tour. Please visit www.pedaltothemetaltour.com for tour dates.

BLS apologizes to ticket holders on the remaining "Pedal To The Metal" dates for the inconvenience, as well as to all BLSNATION Meet & Greet purchasers who gathered for the event this afternoon and in the remaining cities. BLSNATION refunds will be processed promptly.

Further updates on Zakk's medical condition will become available as they are known.

The only "pedal to the metal" will be the brake.
My wife was diagnosed with blood clots in her lungs in the beginning of the year.
5 days in the hospital, another week at home.
Followed by shots, pills, dietary changes, twice-weekly blood tests and doctor visits...
For months.

Not fun...

I will send all the healing light, and prayers I can, to Zakk,..he is one of my heroes
yellow light is a healing wavalength,..so I will picture beams of yellow light going into and filling his lungs.

Zakk is the balls, I love him. He has great taste in music.

Did she ever smoke?

My grandfather was doing nothing else but making cigarets and smoking them every day and all day long, watching TV. He quit smoking one day to the other and just one and a half year later he had water in his lungs. After needing oxygen all day long, just being able to sit around and being unable to walk more than three steps upstairs without taking a break, he died after 5 years of that.

Actually I don´t know if Zakk also got that problems from smoking, but maybe. Hopefully he stops, it´s a burden anyway. Lung problems are the worst you can have because there´s nothing you can do if anything hits this tiny network.

Probably wasnt that serious as I saw some pictures from last night's Black Label Society's
show and Zakk looked good....I think he just had to quit drinking..
