#1 Post by aaronm » Wed Apr 25, 2012 6:44 pm

I purchased the Orange thunderverb 200 over the weekend and I havnt been able to stop playing it since,.. its the best amp I have played through,... I was thinking about the legacy 3 after reading so much about it ,..didnt like it so I tried the marshall then the mesa they were cool I was just about to buy the Dual rectifier then I said can I try that orange one and man what a tone it has grunt like nothing else ,..a cracking solo sound ,..just awesome so for those here not happy with the legacy check out the Orange :guitar

I'm not glad hes leaving. He certainly made some stuff more interesting. I got along with him. Just some of the random threads in the free form that were just a bit irritating. But who cares? Its the free form!

I talk bad about the legacy- but it has one of the best cleans i've ever heard- but its clean channel didn't justify me keeping it given the distortion...

the more and more i think about it maybe the legacy i had was bad/near death or somehow broken

Across all 3 Channels - Esp clean the Dual Rectifier is second to none (this is a lie- the dual rectifier is second to ONE amp- the Road King- but tonally the dual is much better than a triple)

the clean is okay i guess when it comes to playing my electric guitar it always on the lead channel though on this amp I can have both channels with 2 different full on lead sounds its great and I can plug a bass into it as well great for recording ,...but what I have done I bought the messa dual rect on saturday so I can choose between the 2 amps at my lesuire :guitar
