Currently experimenting with Red Bear 'lil jazzers - very nice indeed, if a little pricey.

Over the years I've had many pic changes.

Bass picks, Bendy ones that I'd never use. Shark fin pick I'd never use again. Went through a stage of Jazz 3 but found the pick gave to much feedback when digging in. Andy James gave me a Paul Gilbert pick but I found the shape a little odd. Then I've been so poor as to use all the artist pick's I've ever collected. So my Doug Doppler pick is dented, my Vinnie Moore pick he gave me is battered. The yellow Gizz Butt pick he gave me is worn down to the nub. Rob Balducci's artist pick are still being used on the axe to this day. Dave Weiner's pick is still attached to the cardboard as it's a tad to bendy. I did go through a stage of steel picks & they are really great for artificial harmonics. After all that I purchased 5 S.Vai picks from nevada music. That's my pick of choice & that's what I stick with today. That started a year ago. It never occurred to me to buy a S.Vai pick. It was just some random event.

I've gotten tired of picks. So I play with my fingers. I finally feel that
im really in contact with the strings now. And I can do the same things
as with a pick, Except pick fast. In wich im not interrested anymore.
Use you're fingers., Its fun. ;)

I have all kinds of picks all over the house so it's whatever I pick up first, it doesn't bother me. I've even used the plastic tag from the bread bag on numerous occasions.

Fingers are God's picks, and you have five on each hand. How can you beat that?

I use some medium thin picks from time to time too.
