Yes and this time, with proper lighting and "pre-production" meetings with the film crew!(compared to Astoria which was great, but to me a little too dark at times)

Let me just say that the intro to when Vai first came out on stage haunts me (in a good way) to this day. It was unforgettable, he came out so badass and just started owning immediately and getting my heart to pound. My mouth seriously was dropped and I was laughing to my friend for a good two minutes. I couldnt believe my eyes. It was so awesome, I hope thats on the DVD

OOOO is what it's all about for me, literally can't wait to see that song on the dvd. Will there be a trailer? or some kind of preview for the dvd soon? apologies if this question has been asked.

Aha!
Shows, plural!

"We're planning a Blu-Ray version as well as a regular DVD version.
The shows were shot in 720p HD. Mikey"
Makes me think there is more material to add than the Minn. show, but I am merely speculating.
Haunt is a great word!
I am always lucky enough to be front row stage right for the mentioned entrance,
and for me it was like goosebumps penetrate my eyeballs, by stomach jumps into my adam's apple which gulps for a reality check, and I gasp like I am going to break a tear but it turns out to be this inner scream of absolute hysteria !!!
My sensation seems to mirror the notes played, and as they heighten and forge into Now We Run, I am totally on the verge of losing it!!!
I am quite sure this entrance will be on the DVD.
The 2007 show I was at was the Vancouver show, which was the last 'rehearsal' show before the shoot in Minneapolis.
It was an extremely tight gig, with:
-Oooo very refined (floor tom drum fill, and backing vocals in particular)
-Taurus Bulba rather extended between Steve/Jeremy
-excellent bass solo & drums at end of Freak Show Excess
-sweet version of Audience is Listening
-The Murder very moody
and I'll digress
Please make sure the crazy Canadian border is crossed with shipments of this DVD in time of its release!
I am pretty excited about this too! (In case you couldn't tell)

To set the record straight, the DVD only features the Minneapolis show. We did not film other shows on that leg of the tour (for release anyway).

Reverse speculating, I think Mikey meant "shows" in the sense they filmed the set in Minneapolis without the audience for patching. From what I have been able to gather the entire set was filmed earlier in the day and then again with the audience.Mikey wrote:You're speculating.Hakky wrote:Aha!

Only select songs were recorded/filmed during soundcheck.fyrie wrote:Reverse speculating, I think Mikey meant "shows" in the sense they filmed the set in Minneapolis without the audience for patching.
