Tone Help

Hi guys! I need help... I wanted to get a smooth distortion tone (P&W/S&R style) and I can't really get a good one. i have an hiwatt t40, an mxr superbadass distortion, a boss blues driver and a dynacomp that I use to balance the output beetween my strat and my jem. I have a jem 555 (basswood body and EVO pickups). all the tones I get have or too much or not enough treble or are too fizzy for my taste. can somebody help me?
