Vai Mysterious Machines...

#1 Post by Classic 59 » Sat May 15, 2010 4:17 pm

Can anyone identify the two copper color pieces of gear in this picture. The picture came from a recent "Tweet" picture from Steve Vai.

First unit on top is an Inward Connections TSL-3 Vac Rac Stereo Limiter and the other unit is an Inward Connections DEQ-1 Equalizer.

I got all the others but not these. Believe me it took a while to find'em.

Anyone else like to elaborate on the guessing game?

Until then........

All the ones with RED lines through I got (make & model). All the Blue questions marks are the ones I haven't.

I've seen the asking prices for some of that gear & lets say you get what you pay for. Some of it is vintage & out of production. All the best gear norm is.lol Why does it work like that.lol

Steve, Please list what you have so far. Perhaps as a group we can figure out all of the gear in the room.

Thanks!

play the guitar, record some things, mix them down, then you can figure out what YOU need ;).

Although, it would be nice to get a little input into the world of mixing from Steve. I think he does amazing jobs.
