Wow that seems really expensive for a wah. I wonder how big of a difference there is between that and a standard Cry Baby sound wise.

probably not too much, sounds like hype induced price. plus EVH finish. not worth IMHO.

Did I miss the memo? Since when was EVH particularly known for using wah pedals? Phasers and floyds yes, but wahs?

He used it a little on F.U.C.K. and Balance I think but never very predominantly.

The first time EVH used a wah was on the Cabo Wabo solo from OU812(1988)

He should have made an Echoplex type pedal, or even a delay that has 2 presets, one his typical slap back echo and the other would be the cathedral delay setting.

I really liked his wah sound on "One Way To Rock" on the Live: Right Here Right Now album. I'd be interested to try one of these pedals, but at the moment I've got it bad for the Buddy Guy wah.

I agree with you 100%. I was expecting an echoplex after the flanger with typical delay settings and an extra button for instant cathedral.

I agree with you 100%. I was expecting an echoplex after the flanger with typical delay settings and an extra button for instant cathedral.
