Hi im buying a ibanez Ibanez RG 350 DX.

I wont have much money let so i´m thinking in buying these amp:

Fender Combo Gt. Frontman 25R

i think it´s around 120-140 euros.

Is it a good price? can i find a better or as good as amp for lower price???
with more than 15W please and a good distortion

Have you tried it out for yourself yet? Don't settle for crap just because it falls within your budget. What kind of sound are you after? I'm assuming it'll be for practice, right?

I suggest you check out the Roland Cube 30.

with my rg350 i bought a marshall mg30dfx, exactly 200 euros, the amp is fine to start with :)

i´m after a amp for practise to play solos like canon rock, atittude song, some covers...


a guy a recomended me a cube 15x for 99 euros.
u think ill be able to do some cool effects and distortions with it? i come from classical guitar so i know 0 about amps and distortions :P

You'll be much happier with a Cube than that cheap Fender. Let us know how you like it if you decide to pick one up.

i havent read manual yet. ill read it in some minutes but please tell me one thing please :D

what should i do to get this harmonics with whammy bar cause it´s impossible :( i got a ibanez rg350dx wh :P

That video breaks that technique down really well, so if you just practice you'll eventually get it. Just don't rush it, make sure you're giving the string enough space to vibrate when you move your fret hand finger away.

You can hear Dimebag Darrell use this technique at the end of Cemetary Gates.

Glad you like the new amp! As for the harmonics, it's all technique. Spend some time practicing and figuring out where the harmonics are on and off the fretboard. In Joe Satriani's book, there was a diagram of the neck with all of the harmonics. I'm sure you'd be able to find that same picture or a similar one online.
