Bought myself a christmas present...

I am now the proud owner (Yet sadly not user) of a Line6 POD X3 Live!

Bought it the other day after throwing my guitar into it at the shop for a while to make sure. Through headphones this thing sounds fuckin amazing! I can't actually get my mitts on it again till christmas though, being as my parent are goin halves on it and insist on it being a christmas present.

But hot damn this thing sounds AMAZING just from the little time I spent with it.

They are very cool, and your parents are very wise. Enjoy it in a few weeks - it'll make you practice more! 8)

I have the Pod X3 bean and I must say it has some seriously awesome sounds.

IDK how much over-all improvement it has over the XT as I haven't gotten any sounds out of it that I couldn't get out of the XT after some tweaking.

That being said though, even a lot of the stock settings were pleasing and IMO seem way more of a nice starting point than my pod XT offered initially, so time will tell as I haven't spent a lot of time adjusting settings. The selling point for me was the built in features for bass and vocals. Just crazy smart and convenient...

Just out of curiosity, what will you be running the X3 live into?

That's a really nice looking piece of kit. I have the XT live and the X3 is definitely a more attractive looking pedal board, congratulations! I've found the XT quite versatile and reading some of the blurb on the X3 live it's gone way beyond that. I'm not sure how much the XT live cost when it first came out but mine was £300 (reduced from £400) but the X3, I have seen at £330, so it looks like even better value for money, good choice!

Written like a true Christian.

I'm sure your religious buddies (who shame you for listening to an artist who has the audacity to write a song called, "Fuck Yourself") would be very proud.

Good to see you walkin' the talk. yah. pretty much.
