Is the tubescreamer a good combination with the DS-1?

Hi Guys,
Is the Ibanez Tubescreamer a good buy to go with a Boss DS-1?..also would the EVH phaser be good with them? I know Steve has these pedals so i guess ive answered my own question...just would like your thoughts.

Do you like Steve's tone? Then there is no question to be asked personaly I don't know about the pedals because I don't own any pedals...well aside from whammy and wah.

I have a tubescreamer and a ds-1 and they both balance each other out well. The tubescreamer for me is more for the, well, screaming leads. But the ds-1 is a little chunkier in sounding and is good for nice rhythms but its all about personal taste. Ive never played the evh phaser but i have a phase 90 and it works just as well haha

I use both of them as well.
TS-9 (sometimes I bring out the old 808) for primary boost during solo's
& then the DS-1 on top of that to really kick it's ass!

To be honest I dislike both pedals. I'm not trying to hijack the thread or anything, but if your looking for pedals that sound good together check out the Xotic line.
I think some of the Boss pedals sound ok when modded, but still just okay. You got stuff like Xotic, MI Audio, Barber, BJF and many many more that sound much better.
