Mesa boogie question...

Does anyone know if it would be possible to use a dual rectifier with a single two 12 cabinet? I know I'd have to match the OHM or whatever, but my main concern was the wattage-issue. The speakers would probably be vintage 30s, and those are 60 watt speakers, so yeah.

yeah no problems at all . I belive that duals have a 16 ohm output , i know some mesas didn't and still dont come with 16 ohm output only 4 and 8 .like my mark 3 which ment i had to rewire my legacy cab to run at 4 ohms instead of 16.

there shouldn`t be a problem!
on my mesa,for instance,a cabinet is hooked-up with a 8ohm speaker the output on my mesa is 4ohm.....sounds wonderful!!
