5-way selector PLEASE HELP ME!

The name says it all! Discuss Steve's studios, your studios and gear set-ups, amps and effects here. This is not for discussing guitars (Steve's or otherwise).

Alright this is soo wierd. Me and my friend just bought some new Dimarzios to replace the stock pickups in our RG550 and RG770DX.

So we both replaced the pickups on our own but we are all now experiencing the same problem. When you switch to the bridge pickup it is dead unless you pull the switch towards you.

Now I know that we're probably going to end up replacing them. But I just want to know what caused this! Both of us have the exact same problem and we did each job on our own using different equipment at a different time.

Anybody who knows what is going on, give me a tip! Thanks!

Check out this site, it has a complete section on changing pick ups.

I always use a dimarzio selector instead of the VX thing that is already in the guitar.
