Maybe some of you guys might find this really wierd, but i do have my dream rig. It's not complicated at all. A Strat through a Marshall is really everything i need and it works great for me. The less complicated that it gets, the better it is.

Fender Eric Clapton and Johnson Stratocasters
Fender 60's Telecaster Reissue
Yamaha Sg ( I recently saw one, not sure wich model)
Carvin DC200 vintage (I already have it! 8) )
Carvin DC200/400 all Mahogany, not sure about the tremolo sys
Ibanez Andy Timmons

DOD 250 (I have it)
Maxon overdrives (OD9 & OD808)
Marshall Guvnor
Pro Co Rat (Vintage or II)
DoD FX65 Chorus (Have it)
A Nice Delay
A nice Flanger
Dunlop Cry Baby Wah
A Recording loop unit (is that the correct name?)

Roland Cube 15
Fender Pro Junior / Laney LC15

Marshall Head and Cab (JTM 45 or JCM 800, 1 or 2 channels only)

I also favor simple setup. 3 to 4 pedals or less in the mix and that's enough.
As long as I can get half of the listed equipment during my lifetime I will be happy. :D

Ok, my turn:

- I'd like Ibanez to build me this guitar I designed, at least 5 of them cuz i cant decide what color its gonna be. And also in 6-string and 7-string versions.

- Fender something for clean and crunchy sounds
- Two Mesa Boogie somethings (for rock sounds and nastier distortions)

Fx Loop:
- Delay (rack unit, set to emulate reverb-like ambiences)
- Another delay unit, this time set not for reverb but for other stuff
- Boss Chorus (juss for the clean amp/sounds)

- Wah Wah Crybaby
- Ernie Ball Volume pedal (just for boosting the singnal when soloing)
- Some Boss distortion (to get a crunchy sound over the clean amp)
- From time to time, I'd put a flanger and a pitch shifter somewhere in the chain.

Whay do u think?

Guitar - my own custom design (i could bore you for hours with the details) ----> via a decent wirlesss system --> Weeping demon wah ---> whammy pedal--->Boss MD-2 -> tubescreamer ---> MXR phaser --->Noise gate ---> Rack + amp control unit --> Volume pedal ---> amp

Mesa Boogie rectifier ---> a hell of a lotta cabs

Eventide DSP3000 (or whatever that one is called)
3-5 delay units
Furman power conditioner
A decent pre-amp
A sampler of some sort

And about a miles worth of cables
