have you ever really blown an amp because of playing so long/fast?

Well ...... Me nope ... :) But my dad does it before... When he was very young and was using the FENDER Twin reverb ..... :roll: Dn't know how he did it though

Well I don't know how it happened but I was at this concert of multiple artist once and this amp caught fire big time! I mean it burst into flames! It wasn't part of the show either. The artist had to handle the extinguishers along with the roadies..

Yeah. We never did get my amp rebuilt.
