I suppose it is all right to share some more or less personal anecdotes here ...
(if not, just let me know and I will remove it)

First some background info :
My son is 8 years old. He is in Vai stuff since a year or so and went to his first concert :guitar , Steve Vai of course, last September.
And we are speaking French.

Now the story ("of light", oops ) :
Today, my husband and my son were driving.
At a crossing, he saw a board with the street name on it ; it stated "Edouard Colson".
And his reaction when he read it, was : "Oh, like Jeremy Colson !"

We have seen the name of the street hundred, a thousand times. But we have never made the link between the 2 names until today, especially because Colson is pronounced differently in French and in English.

Last September, my son already surprised us when I showed him Fire (Vai).
He said : "Oh, Fire, like Firewall" and later on added "Or Fire, like Firegarden ..."

I love this kid ♥

“If I ever really felt depressed, I would just start putting on all my old records that I played as a kid, because the whole thing that really lifted me then still lifted me during those other times. It was good medicine for me, and it still does that for me when I put something on. Isn’t it wonderful that we’ve got all that good medicine? I think it’s got to be all part of our DNA, this mass communication through music. That’s what it is. It’s got to be, hasn’t it? Music is the one thing that has been consistently there for me. It hasn’t let me down.”
-Jimmy Page

Go with the flow. Force nothing. Let it happen, or not happen... Trusting that whichever way it goes, it's for the best.

Hugging is good MEDICINE. It transfers energy and gives the person hugged an emotional lift. You need four hugs a day for survival, eight for maintenance, and twelve for growth. Hugging is a form of communication because it can say things you don't have the words for. And the nicest thing about a hug is that you usually can't give without getting one. Have an awesome day. Sending a big hug your way.
-Linda O'Connell

Here’s a little hug for you
to make you smile when you feel blue.
To make you happy if you’re sad,
to let you know… life isn’t so bad!!
Now when I’ve given a hug to you,
Somehow, i feel better too!!
Hugs are better when you share,
so pass on and on and show you care.
Share a hug today !!!

Funny, I thought of you, Jenn, today ... knowing that today was the international hug day.
And since we need to share and hug, here is one in return ♥

There are only two days in the year where nothing can be done.
One is called Yesterday and the other is called Tomorrow.
So Today is the right day to Love, Believe, Do
and mostly Live.
