Have you tried D,D,D,D,D,D? It's really fun but not quite suitable for the standard set of strings.

start thrashing up the strings against the cases, throwing it high up into the air, and then swing the guitar into the flight cases. then laugh at the two halves with your bandmates, and then toss the thing into the crowd and watch them tear it up like a pack of ravening wolves. after that mess around with the cable and your effects.

After all that, take a rest, and then go jam Rockin in a Free World with Steve Vai and Joe Satriani.

Try to have fun with chord's variations such as semidiminished or diminished chords or their alteration (5b,5#,7B and so on)
take a chord and alterate only one note of it (it doesn't matter what kind of chord it is)
I always have fun when I practice tapping on chord's composition, it feels really melodical to play all the extensions of a chord along the neck!
or you can try to experiment different techniques of picking (hibryd pickin... )
hope it'll help, have fun  !

Yeah. I did that, now I play death-satan-black-metal with a capo.
That seems strange to me. That chord is very beatiful and melodic, how did you use it for death-satan-black-metal?

When im really bored i often end up turning it so its laid down on my lap (usually while watching tv) and try and play it like a piano - i also find that find the random note thing good but ill think in my head Bb then play them all as quick as possible then think of anouther random note - or try and play a solo using the tremelo bar and harmonics - listen to the solo on Frank to see what i mean - Or u could smash it over someones head u dont like lol  - very rock n' roll

Do what Steve Vai suggests. Sit down for an hour, and play nothing but one note. Or do nothing but bends, or something like that. But try to remain focused for the entire hour.

Try Tuning in Perfect 5ths instead of 4ths, starting on D. The result is:
D A E B F# C#

Try tuning to various chords. For example, E major6/9:
E B F# G# C# F#

Work on rhythm. Put some funk into your practice exercises. Play scales as all off beat 16ths at 120+. Never get bored.

if ur bored, take a rest, even a nap...
dont play guitar if u dont feel like it,
the goal is try to enjoy ur time of playign the guitar, but if ur bored about it, take a walk, eat ice cream, go to guitar center or shop, and get showed off by guitarists who "think" they're better than you, then ur pist off, so u go home, and then u solo the sh*t out of ur guitar n everything, lol

I can't believe no one has said this yet...

Write a song.

Bonus points if you write parts for other instruments too, whether they be drums, bass, keys, French Horn...

Don't practice scales and chords practice musical ideas and find a coulpe of friends to jam with. Playing by your self in your roomall day can be really depressing. Don't fall in to this trap why are you practicing? To play so go out into the world and play.
