i agree with most of the other guys (the serious answers)
play:
exotic tunings (screw parallel fifths or 4ths....do flat 5ths)
play with a slide
mess around with hybrid/chicken picking
switch to acoustic guitar for a while
tune your guitar like a banjo
learn new styles of music like bluegrass:

exotic tuning is the best idea. 'cuase when you try to play your pet licks and scales, they sound different because of the different tuning, and it causes you think of the guitar in a different way.

Any idea how i can rekindle the flame?
Get Inspired And Jam
Maybe take a break and go to a live concert or local pub for a beer and a live band.
That usually helps me get back in the grove.

If you can't do either of these, check out some old concerts on videos and maybe learn some new techniques.

Play with others. Live jams are the best way to just forget about everything and have some fun.

None the less take a break, but not more than a week.

sit down and work out all of the wierd sounds you can get that are specific to your guitar, like striking strings above nut or bending them there for adding vibrato on open strings

also mess around and find odd sounds you can get with breidge and pickups, then go onto seeing if you can get interesting sounds by messing with volume and tone pots and pickup selector.

then combine as many as you have hands to do to make more wierd sounds!!!

Swap Hands!

Play your guitar the other way 'round.

It makes for great satisfaction on returning!

You've gotta wonder where the 'boredom' has gone?

Either way is an indulgenge!
