On the Naked tracks site it says

Die to Live is A mixolydian. How can that be if it goes - AM -> DM7 -> C
It even uses F sometimes.

Isnt C# in A mixo, not C?

---------------------------------------------------------

Also in Km pee du wee, i read it was all in lydian.

Does it start in E lydian, and modulate to A lydian? Because A is not in E lydian.

I wouldn't analyze chords diatonically in modes.

i say- look at the melody/leads/solos relative to the modes mentioned but don't try to apply those scales to chords within keys.

Reading Steve's notes, he says those songs are in those keys "for the most" part. Steve's music is just sophisticated. Even when it sounds very diatonic, he'll use a few harmonic devices to make it more interesting.

Do you need a more detailed breakdown of them?
