#1 Post by Hjalmar Jakobsson » Fri Dec 04, 2009 3:28 pm

Hi Evrbdy!!
I can't take it anymore! There are to many people that post bad lessons on youtube:(
It's like no one knows how to give a proper lesson on sweep picking
I'd like people to post links that they've got with "the BEST SWEEP PICKING LESSONS EVER" :D
It would be super awesome! yeah

Did you notice that when Dave sweeps downward in the slow demonstration, he slightly picks each note-that is, its not a smooth 'rake' downward? Its this this I can't stop myself doing when speeding things up and it messes up my timing. Sweeping up, I have no problem with, it going down that frustrates me.

One of the keys is right & left hand synchronization in the said direction, slow.

Here's a beginner lesson on sweep picking I put up recently. It's very rudimentary but I think it covers most bases....
