classical repertoire

#1 Post by *theanimal*05 » Wed Feb 07, 2007 1:37 am

hi i have my final piece for my final year music class and i need a difficult but manageable classical piece.
can anyone give me any ideas? whether it be truly classical like classical period stuff or even more spanish/flamenco orientated?

an answer asap would be appreciated.

ps- if you list a piece, it would be great if you could provide a place on the net for the sheet music or a site that has classical guitar rpertoire would also be very helpful

This is a great site for classical music! http://www.classtab.org/
J.S Bach is always a winner :)

Depends how long of a piece you are looking for.
From most difficult to least
Tarrega-Cappricco Arabe
Giuliani-The Harmonious Blacksmith (variations)
Bach- Prelude from Prelude, Fugue and Allegro
Lauro-Walz #2
Villa Lobos- Prelude #4 in E minor
Sor #6
Brouwer-Etude #6
Carcassi #7
Ask your teacher which would be best for you.
