I've been playing for 6 hours straight, no breaks, today, and my callouses turned to blisters. Ouch. Im still playing, but it hurts. Any tips for no-blister playing? Thanks.

Don't pop them with a pin.

Leave them until they die down, popping them will mean there's open skin which is liable to get infected.

In the past I've popped them with a pin... make one small puncture near the nail at the edge of the blister... and then slowly squeeze all the fluid out. I was pretty lucky and didn't rip off the skin while continuing to play. Worked well for me... attempt at your own risk, heh.

I cleaned the pin with anti-bacterial soap and then Isopropyl Alcohol...

soak your fingers in water and let them dry ..that way they will harden ...but dont pop em ......they will get infected...... and give your hands a rest as well dont force your self to play for that long when u arent ready to

Yeah, you shouldn't really pop them but most people do anyway!

i had that too,and i popped em 8) :D no prob (with me at least, i still wouldn't recommend it)

but the problem with me was that i kept getting blisters and m fingertips turned white (the flesh died i suppose, and then it turned to shade of green because i keptplaying with my wounds and the steel in strings kinda got into the woond :D so let it heal first!)

When i first got my fingers blistered up like that i used band-aids... then electrical tape, i couldn't stop playing even though it hurt pretty bad... now that i've been playing for a while i still suck.
