Man, he's a good guitar player but where's the style and originality? What made all his influences cool is that they were the originals, now he is like 2 decades behind that. Of course I hate all those shred-without-regard-for-musicality- types.

i didn't know the olsen twins could shred!!

j/k

i think he's great. i'm sure he's not the only 14 year old out there who can play like that, but he has skills and i think his tone is pretty good.

i'd still rather be listening to greg howe right now

Hey... you'd prolly have a huge dumb ass grin on your face too if Pamela Anderson had your shoulder planted in the middle of her bosom. heh.

Good stuff. Better than some players twice his age I have heard.

This kid is not that good. He plays in a bland classic rock style, without much originality, there are lots of kids his age that can play better.
On a side note this kid lives in my city and on several occasions I've seen him in guitar center with a flock of people gawking at his bland pentatonics.

ragnar, i like your music better, but you have to admit he has good chops for a tiny little shredder. its not like he doesn't deserve the recognition.

i agree that its kind of "sell out" to just play generic stuff like that guy and get a lot of attention for it, but think about where he'll be by the time he gets a decent musical education and works on his own style. not everyone has a unique way of playing guitar before they have chest hair (except chicks)

not bad, but if he continues to be that sloppy, he'll never be a great player. He does have a hot M.I.L.F. though!
