Ok, the toggle is for coil tapping.
Now do the (4) pots. :-)

I was sort of pointing out how different the elec. controls were on that guitar as opposed to a JEM.

Let's keep it on topic please. This disucssion is about ideas and concepts to celebrate 50,000 Jems sold.

Thanx for your input so far - let's keep it coming! :)

A new Jem is always welcom, but what about a Concert in Central Park with any Jem owner to bring their Jems for a 50,000 huge photo with Steve in the middle?

Hahaha, that's actually a pretty neat idea, but i'm sure it wouldn't happen. I think that's the most original and exciting idea yet, though.

ok ...check it out...... a jem in a glossy red finish with a matching headstock, gold hardware, and the vine inlay to be red and gold.

Breed Pickups, white pearloid pickguard (like thew jem 7vwh) and white knobs.

CALL IT 'FIRE STRINGS' EDITION! Because the red and the gold will give it a vivid orange glow together.........red + yellow + orange = the color of fire!

bkornaker1977's idea, except I think a black pickguard would be cooler. :)

Sounds like you're describing the 'Red Lace'

(Possible production versions) :

I'd prefer if it stayed out of the production line because its (Red Lace) one of Vai's unique guitars. ;)
