This thing plays so smooth. Had a chance to fondle it for about 2 hours last night. Had the amp up at 10 / max most of the time. I can't believe how easy it is to hit harmonics of all shapes and flavors. I was in the zone. Haven't felt that in quite some time.

i've seen JS1000's and Universes (same price as that one new) sell for $700-1000

Good to hear once again. I can't see me ever getting rid of this one. Would take triple what I have in it. It makes me smile more and more every time I pick it up. I see Fernandes has a driver/dual pickup out in their current 401 line. Would the dual pickup plug match the board plug from one like mine from around 10yrs ago? Always up for more tone selection if its still clean.

no- don't touch it
you're fine with what you have

your guitars been routed for the extra knob- going to the other model is not an option

you're fine and better off with what you have
