What do you think about this RG?

Model is GR421EXFMBBS. It looks great on the pic.
What do you guys think of it? Anyone tried it?
Neck and good body is the most important here (and looks :)), I'd change pickups (at least bridge cause I use it all time) to Evo or D-Sonic and probably tuners to some locking (sprezel, planet waves or schaller).

some "design by EMG". It's the one I like the most look-wise from current production RG's below 1000$ and it's got mahagony body. Costs 450$

Well it's what you prefer to play....do you like it?
Body work is fine ... perfect
the hardware is an other story...
This guitar has an fixed bridge ... any kind of floyd rose system gives you more play range

Also this guitar has no single coil pickup in the middle

those two things are not easy to change!

Pichups are easy to change but it might be that you have to change some other stuff to...(capacitors, tone/ volume knob)

You just have to know what you like... what do you what to play on it?

Thanks for reply!
My style is mostly satch, vai, dream theater and similar.
I already have great floyd equipped guitar, so having tremolo isn't a must. It would be easier to experiment with different tunings this way. Also, I don't need middle pickup too much, it just gets in the way anyway :)
I'd change electronics, don't know how good (bad) pots they use, but I'd definitely change a switch to 5 position multipole so I can do custom wiring and have some cleaner sounds. Wiring is not a problem at all.
I'm looking also at some prestige models like RG1570 and RG2550 but they are both made of basswood which I hate. Those RGA121 have good specs but finish is very ugly.

Looks sweet. My only peeve is the reverse headstock. I prefer them on the bass side, just for ease of use/access.

Paint it white, sticker it with F-holes, put dimarzios in it, and then you have something that may look and sound like a PGM :D :D

Very nice guitar. The colour looks like Rob Balducci's guitar.

Great catch if you're going to get one Bancika!

Looks cool and I'm sure it plays like a dream (and you can easily detune it with the fixed bridge too)
