If you need a manual to set the guitar up then there is a reason its not staying tune. Mine stays in tune perfectly, never had any problems.

The only thing I didn't like is how tall the frets were, I found it difficult to slide a note smoothly. Though that's just a personal-issue.

I didn't experiment a terrible amount through the amp I was using, but the pickups sounded okay..kind of muddy and thin though. I am by no means one of those tone snobs, but I think the sound would be improved a lot with better pickups. They are decent stock pups though and probably just needed more tweaking of the amp to sound good.

It seems like a very work-able guitar. I was considering one for some time but decided I should just wait for -the- guitar, you know?

Nice looking guitar but you'd be better off with a fixed bridge if you're going none prestige to avoid tuning stability issues. Then put in some better pickups and you have yourself a fantastic guitar for the money.

i just took mine into the shop to have the strings lowered and the locking trem was missing a spring so the trem was sticking way up instead of being flat like it should be. I sure as heck am not buying another ibanez from that store again if they do not set it up properly and sell guitars like this to people i wish i had more knowledge and i would of known about it and flipped out but it is getting fixed :D
