My new baby!

#1 Post by resha » Wed Nov 15, 2006 12:48 pm

This is my new baby!

She's just arrived home and I quickly took some pics!

I've got some stuff to set properly (change strings & knobs, cleaning the fretboard...).

And I've got some questions:
- I'd like to have a new clear pickguard (& all the knobs too), do you guys know where I can get them in Europe?!
- I'd also love to have blue Evos on Her, should I order them from my local DiMarzio dealer or from any other channel? Do you have any clues about how much I will have to wait to get them?!

Hope you like Her 8)

Thanx to everyone!

I'm really happy with Her and not only for the look!

Today I had my first Floyd Rose string changing experience :? but I have to admit it has not been too hard thanx to your posts that explained how to do that! :)

Yeah it's a bit harder than other tremolo equipped guitars but that's the pay-off to have a constant tuning!

I also cleaned the fretboard with the lighter fluid but I think I need something more to have it "shiny"... should I go with 0000 steel wool? Any recommendations from other maple users?

P.S.: I also made the "standard" headstock pick holder and it came out wonderful! :P

Ahhhh! Congrats, that's one of the sexiest Jems ever made. Not too many of those left floating around. I'm very jealous! :P

Cool BF Resha! For the knobs try Ibanez Rules.
