ESP Guitars is debuting a new Signature Series guitar under both their ESP and LTD brands for Richard Z., guitarist for the acclaimed European rock band Rammstein.

“For over a decade, Rammstein has created some of the most innovative music in the world of industrial metal,” says Allen Steelgrave, ESP Director of Marketing and Artist Relations. “Anyone who’s seen them on tour knows that Rammstein puts on some of the most intricate shows imaginable. They’ve been a huge act in Europe for years, and are experiencing success in the USA as well. We’re glad to partner with Richard on a guitar that’s as cool and unique as his music.”

FEATURES ESP - LTD MW-600:

Platinum silver finish,
neck-thru 25.5” scale design,
alder body,
3-pc maple neck with 24-fret rosewood fingerboard and custom cross inlays,
white binding on neck and head,

Based on multiple experiences on the LTD-brand: no-one should waste their money on LTD by ESP. It`s not an ESP, it`s an LTD and there is a reason why LTD`s are cheaper than the real thing: they are made of crappier parts. Shure they look cool but once you get over that looks-thing: enter the problems. The hardware starts to fall apart, intonation won`t stay, Floyd`s don`t return to the "zero" position, potentiometers rattle, mics are weak...

If someone has an LTD and is happy with it but got offended by my message: I`m sorry! I know just too many people who are not happy with them.

My ESP LTD Viper 400, is one of the best guitars I have ever owned,
and the features it has for the money are hard to beat.

I would say that if you are thinking of buying 50-100-200 series LTDs,
there are many better guitars on the market, but the 400 and 1000 series
guitars are an excellent value with quality components.

Oh, on the Richard Z guitar, not really my cup of tea, but if it is something
that you are into, GO FOR IT! The shape just does not suit my personal
tastes.

:? weeellll, if you are asking me if I would buy it,...........no!

It´s not the type of guitar for me! I am a strat boy excluding the Les Paul Custom (1969) that I got from my Dad for my 13th Birthday back in 1973

I am just curious on how, a Signature guitar from a German Rocker tickels your bellies!?! I could have put one of my Bosses Signature Guitars in this thread! The Black & White Flying V from Dean!

Rudoplh Schenker (Michael Schenkers Bro)is one of my Bosses as well as Klaus Meine! both are from the Scorpions!

I work for their Radio station in Hannover/Germany! That is where they also live!

I do know that a lot of ESP fans here in the U.S. were wanting the Richard
Z signature model, but how many of them will buy it? Probably a very low
percentage.

I don't know... but it looks kinda uncomfortable to play the higher frets and it doesn't have a tone knob, so... don't like it :|

I sincerely don't like its look... but it'd be cool to have it in a house collection 8)

I would definitly play it! Based on Rammstein's music, this guitar is more of a riffing guitar than a shredding one. Someone said that it looked uncomfortable to play the higher frets and I definitely agree. But since I need a good, cool-looking riffing guitar that's fine with me!

Id probably play it, but the only way id buy it was if they got rid of all the Rammstein logos
