The tone. Useless. Unplayable, and no tuning stability. Sorry if I upset anyone, but I really think they're terrible.

I've played hundreds of them. Upper models too. Any time I go to see a local band play there's always one guitarist with a BC Rich. They just seem inferior to me. I'm sure they have made some good guitars. Then so has every company. I've convinced a few BC Rich owners to buy either a Strat or an SG and none have ever said the BC Rich was better. And these are people who like you claim they hate Fenders. It's funny to watch someone change their oppinion that they once said was never going to change. Oh and there endorsees are all lame. Lol.

I dunno..
It would have to have 24 frets, HSH pickup deal and a Floyd Rose type whammy. So I would be on the hunt. Thats how I learned about Ibanez AND Mr. Vai. Looking for that guitar.

Fender.

I'd have a blonde strat with a black pickguard dudded out with an Original floyd rose and HSH pickup config.

Along with a Japanese '62 re-issue, sunburst.

Both I'm planning on getting, the Japanese one will be mine in a matter of months :D

For once the poll results are very interesting, it seems that ibanez has a wide variety of people using their guitars to suit different styles...I'm cool with that.

I have had quite a few Japanese RG's and a Jem...I choose "other". My Tagima K1 Kiko Loureiro sig model is my #1 guitar.
