my jem7vwh of course. she doesn't have a name yet. i was hoping Steve could sign it and, in his handwriting, name it Fire. not because of his son, but it is a nickname of one of my closest friends. but as for playing, to be honest, i hated the neck when i first got it. my other guitars all had wizard II's. but now i cannot play my other guitars because i just love that fat neck on the jem. the other necks feel like toys!

My 1988 Kinman Blueprint strat is the best I've ever played....except it's pink...

I'm gonna refinish it with Zappa graphics from the Overnite Sensation album cover..

I also put newer Kinman noiseless pickups in it...it's awesome

Here's a (not very good) pic

My second fave is a 1975 Ibanez Silver Series strat signed by Steve
I also loaded this with new Kinman noiseless pickups

Peace to all

Best sound maybe a JS1000/JS2000
The one with best playability maybe Jem7vwh

So thats why I bought a Jem77fp.
Almost like a Jem7vwh and with PAF PRO's.

The best guitar I've played is my JS with the Vai pickups in it.

My dream guitar, though, would be a '59 Jimmy Page Les Paul.

The best guitar I've played is my Gibson EDS-1275. Not much playability, only has 20 frets, and anything past the 17'th fret is nearly impossible to play standing up, but the sound and feel of the guitar's amazing. Not to mention the awesome smooth sustain I get from it. Here's a pic.

guys i have played JEM's and RG's and everything in between. The best guitar i have played would have to be Brett Garsed's ESP horizon. I play his actual guitar which is a ESP custom job. I felt like a Les paul yet play like an RG with one of the nicest actions i have ever come across. I was not really that low because he plays slide guitar, but it was a great medium.

I may be beating this to death but, the fret wire on the 77fp is nicer than the fret wire on the 7vwh. IMHO. It's also closer to the fret wire on EVO. Or at least in the "All About Evo". So yes, great guitar for sure.

No one can clone a guitar better than Ibanez.
Mass production anyway.
I have a buddy who has a lawsuit Telecaster and I am sayin thats one sweet guitar.
