Mr. Gilbert
Mr. Belew
Buckethead
Mr. Gambale
Mr. Holdsworth

meh... just off the top of my head there, it's late and i don't want to try and think.

In the Jemfest radio interview with Satch he mentioned there will possibly be two G3 things happening next year but he couldent say anything more at this stage.

I would love to see Greg Howe on tour with them.Greg Howe is a great player and it would be interesting to see him jam with Vai annd Satch. Mikey if you can mention it to Steve for me it would be great. Pluss they haven't had a player of this kind of style on G3 yet it would probably create a great atmoshere plus both Vai and Satriani fans would enjoy seeing him.

each time this is discussed on Vai.com, my mind immediately jumps to the great Carlos Santana.
Santana has been improvising and playing some great guitar music longer than both Satriani and Vai. Santana is also famous for his collaborations with many different musicians from many genres. i think Santana would add something special and dynamic to the Satriani/Vai live performance.

Good Idea Summer.

And the way Santana became so famous to none musicians today, it would be good for Joe and Steve. It would make them well known to people that know "deedly squat" about music or guitar-music.
