Even in 3D, Satch would look 2D!

Think I might actually go to this in Glasgow. I'll need to lie to the wife about what we're going to see, though......sneeky bastard that I am.

Why would she object to you seeing this at the cinema (other than on the grounds of poor musical taste and cruelty to Whammy pedals)?

I mean I'm going to drag her along with me. Going to the cinema yourself is just a little too sad, even for me.

Oh now that's not fair on her, go on your own. Once the lights are down, nobody will know you're a sad Satch fan!

Yep, it's definitely sad. And the other way round, when you can't go unaccompanied to sit in a darkened room and look at a screen for 2 hours without saying anything, is definitely not sad.

I'm sure I will end up checking it out in Edinburgh - I only live 5 mins from the cinema.

No offence, I'd rather chop my arm off with a fork than travel to Dundee!

Saw the film last night in Glasgow. Quite good, actually, apart from the annoying twat who kept standing up and shouting in the cinema at the end.

The 3D is rubbish and I don't really see the point. I've never been impressed with 3D at the cinema.

Also, I think Satch 'overplays' when he's on stage. Too many long ends to songs and so on. However, on the whole, some cool stuff. The guy has complete 100% control of the instrument, so he's great to watch.

Hm, I've heard some underwhelming reactions so far....pretty much everyone said the 3D is pretty point-less, that only 3D shots are the ones from the front....that bass player (A.Whitman, I believe) was a wrong choice for Satche's band...also that the keyboards don't fit the older songs which were recorded without them....
I thought it'd be more exciting that this...
